3k delegates attend IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific 2018


The 26th IT&CM Asia and 21st CTW Asia-Pacific held at CentralWorld, Bangkok, Thailand, saw conglomeration of some 3,000 delegates, including over 500 hosted buyers and media, from more than 50 territories and countries. Over 50 industry thought-leaders from government bodies, related associations, corporate organisations and industry professions delivered knowledge sessions. The main keynote presented by Martin Nydegger, CEO, Switzerland Tourism; Oscar Cerezales, COO, MCI Asia-Pacific; Nichapa Yoswee, Senior Vice President – Business, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB); and Daniel Chua, Vice President – Meetings & Incentives, Singapore Associations of Conventions and Exhibition Organisers (SACEOS), set the tone towards the transformation of audience engagement as the demand to stand out and being top-of-mind becomes more competitive. TCEB hosted the Official Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception themed ‘Thailand Limited’ that rounded off Day 1 of activities at the GMM Live House at CentralWorld, featuring a colourful night of uniquely Thai entertainment, local cuisine and hospitality.

E Factor Entertainment and Filmmaster Events form joint venture for specialised events


E-Factor Entertainment, India’s premium specialised events agency has announced its partnership with Filmmaster Events. A part of the Italian Entertainment Network (IEN), Filmmaster Events is renowned globally for its expertise in events and content production. The 50-50 joint venture will be incorporated as EFactor-Filmmaster Events, which will be focusing on tourism and events space, specifically targeting sporting ceremonies and permanent installations using state of the art light, sound, video technology. Samit Garg, CEO and Co-Founder, E-Factor, said, “We will be creating events for tourism, sports and entertainment segments, at a scale that India has seldom witnessed, along with Filmmaster Events.” Andrea Francisi, COO, Filmmaster Events, said, “Our joining of hands will usher in a new era to create an events ecosystem that will leave audience spellbound. Indian consumers are always open to experiential and opulent events.” FME is present in 12 countries and India will be the 13th country to increase their global footprint in collaboration with E Factor Entertainment. The coming together of the two leading events agencies will boost India’s fledgling events industry, which is pegged at around INR 6,000 crore and growing at around 20 per cent.
