In addition, South Korea also rolled out its new MICE brand ‘Korea Unique Venues’ introducing twenty world-class meeting venues. These venues are a result of close collaborations with local convention bureaus and suppliers, where the South Korea MICE Bureau evaluated recommended sites and filtered them according to their characteristics, usability, and willingness to open the place for business events. Dubai Business Events reinforces Dubai as hub for events

dubai business events

Dubai is an upcoming and suitable business events hub and Dubai Business Events (DBE), a division of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), ensured it so through inking six Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) throughout 2017, which outlined collaboration with potential entities across a range of key industries. The emirate’s convention bureau also signed with the Road and Transport Authority (RTA), the Emirates Medical Association (EMA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Issam Kazim, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said: “Each and every agreement we enter has significant potential, and is mutually beneficial for all parties involved. This has grown very successfully, resulting in the first Dubai Association Conference held in December 2017. These agreements provide wide scope for cooperation, forming an important part of DBE’s strategic frameworks, as well as reflecting the strong public-private partnerships that exist across Dubai.” Layla Faridoon, Executive Director of the Director General’s Office at the RTA, said: “The agreement with Dubai Business …
